Against Me released Reinventing Axl Rose in 2002 and it was hailed as a great success for an up and coming punk rock band. Then they followed up with the albums As the Eternal Cowboy and Searching for a Former Clarity that launched them onto the Billboard charts.
As of 2008 Against Me is listed as one of the best punk rock bands playing today.
